A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO SCHOLAR SELECTION
The Bravante Family Foundation is looking for high school sophomores who show academic promise, strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a dedication to community service. Financial need will also be a primary consideration for the Bravante Mothers’ Scholarship. We take a holistic approach to reviewing applications, and we do not have absolute criteria or cut-offs for GPA, standardized test scores, income, or other factors.
THE REQUIREMENTS
The primary qualifications for consideration are as follows:
The applicant is a high school sophomore / rising junior
The applicant has obtained a recommendation from one of our BMS Scouts
The applicant demonstrates significant financial need (typically coming from families with a total annual income of $65,000 or less)
APPLICATION MATERIALS
Freshman and sophomore year transcripts
Personal statement and essay responses
Listing of extracurricular activities, community service involvement, and awards / honors
